TRAVEL AGENT FAQ:

Q. When do I have to pay my fees to Bid Your Cruise Vacation?
A. The 1.75% commissionable fare for the cruise is due the first day of the month after the sail date. For example, if your booking has a sail date of November 15, then your fee to Bid Your Cruise Vacation would be due on December 1. A credit card number will be provided to Bid Your Cruise Vacation at the time you sign your membership agreement and this credit card will be charged on the first day of each month any fees that are due to Bid Your Cruise Vacation.

Q. Can I advertise special cruise sailings on your website?
A. We do not accept any banner advertising at this time. In the future we may re-consider this option. At no time, however, will we consider banner advertising for other competing industries such as hotels, resorts or vacation packages. We are promoting the cruise industry and as such, any competition from other venues would be undermining to those agents who have joined Bid Your Cruise Vacation and who strictly specialize in cruises. We do have an area on our home page titled Discount Cruise Specials. You are welcome to submit and place an advertisement in this area for a cruise that you would like to feature. The customer can click on the link on the home page and they will be re-directed to a feature page for which you have provided the content. No other agent will be able to bid or provide a cruise quote on this special that you are featuring. There will be a link on this feature page that goes directly to your email account. If someone is interested they will contact you directly.

Q. What information will I be provided with to base my cruise bid upon?
A. Each cruise quote request will provide you with the Cruiseline name, the ship name, the sailing date, the type of cabin or specific category of cabin, how many are sailing, how many cabins are requested, the ages of the members of the party and if they are past passengers.

Q. How do I bid on a specific cruise quote?
A. Next to the cruise quote request, there is a clickable button titled submit quote. Click on this button and provide the information on the form on the screen. Once you have entered all of your information, hit submit. This quote will now be available for viewing by the customer who requested the cruise quote. If the customer selects you for booking their cruise, they will contact you by the method of contact that you included with your cruise quote.

Q. How do I become a member of Bid Your Cruise Vacation?
A. Complete, sign and fax the Travel Agent Membership Agreement. We will then provide you access to the listing of cruise quotes available for bidding.
